Keno is a game of luck with a rich and acclaimed past. The game that we know and love has experienced incredible alterations since its earliest appearance. Gaming chroniclers have traced its history as far back as 200 B.C. to a Chinese form of amusement called ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It’s a well-documented fact that a variation of keno was played in a bingo-like configuration on the eastern seaboard right around the time of the humongous Chinese arrival during the gold rush.
In its current style, keno is a bit like bingo in that both games are based upon numbers. An individual keno card is printed with eighty numbers and the player shall choose as many as she wants. This is completed by marking the numbers with a pencil. As soon as the player has picked out the numbers, he or she has to take the card back to the cashier at the keno stand. The cashier will then provide a receipt after marking down the gambler’s numbers. It’s the responsibility of the player to trade in any winning keno card before the next round starts, so stragglers need to remain alert.
Now that we’ve reviewed some of of keno’s fascinating history and basic facts of game play, you’re probably chomping at the bit to find out where you can gamble on keno on the web. And that is only a reasonable thing for an avid keno gambler. To be sure, you have a great many possibilities to choose from when it comes to some serious online keno excitement with all the charm you expect.
